The airdrop includes vested packages, instant rewards, staking incentives, and aura rewards. The snapshot will use the **Season 2 XP leaderboard (finalizing November 28)** and additional addresses from partner ecosystems. The Wave 2 airdrop is estimated to occur on **December 2**. * * * ## 🔍 **Motivation** Wave 2 expands the distribution of $AITV to highly engaged users and active partner communities, supporting AITV DAO’s goals of decentralization, participation, and ecosystem growth. Season 2 introduced new missions, tools, and XP pathways, attracting a broader cohort of creators, developers, and users. Rewarding this group sustains momentum, strengthens alignment, and ensures governance representation for contributors. Moreover, integrating partner ecosystems—such as **Mr Freeman (Pre-TGE), Sproto (`$BITCOIN`), Nimpet (`$PUBLIC`), RetroDoges (`$DOG`), Gloria (`$GLORIA`), Burnie (`$ROAST`), EOLAS (`$EOLAS`), and SINT (Pre-TGE)**—accelerates cross-community collaboration and increases awareness of AITV’s mission. * * * ## ⚙ **Specification** ### **Airdrop Size** Total allocation for Wave 2: **12,500,000 $AITV** ### **Breakdown** - **10,000,000 $AITV — Vested Packages** Distributed to eligible users with a vesting/claim mechanic [equivalent to Wave 1](https://docs.aitv.gg/aitv-airdrops#claim-options-for-vested-packages-8m-usdaitv). - **500,000 $AITV — Instant Airdrop** Sent directly to eligible addresses; no claim required. - **1,000,000 $AITV — Staking Rewards** Distributed over time as emissions to AITV stakers. - **1,000,000 $AITV — Aura Rewards** Allocated to users based on aura metrics or similar profile-level engagement scoring. * * * ### **Eligibility Criteria** 1. **Season 2 XP Leaderboard** 2. **Partner Community Expansion** Addresses from the following communities will be included: Partner lists will be verified with their community reps. ### **Distribution %'s** The tokens distributed to eligible users will be split between the 2 categories as follows: - 80% - **Season 2 XP Leaderboard** - 20% - **Partner Community Expansion** ### **Snapshot & Airdrop Timing** - **Snapshot Date:** November 28, 2025 (at finalization of Season 2 leaderboard) - **Airdrop Estimated Date:** December 2-3, 2025 * * * ## 💡 **Rationale** The design of Wave 2 builds on lessons from Wave 1, incorporating community feedback and data-driven improvements: ### **Why this structure?** - **Vested packages (majority allocation)** incentivize deeper involvement and long-term alignment while giving users [flexible claim options](https://docs.aitv.gg/aitv-airdrops#claim-options-for-vested-packages-8m-usdaitv). - **Instant airdrops** reward broad participation, including smaller users. - **Staking rewards** strengthen governance by increasing the benefits of long-term commitment. - **Aura rewards** recognize high-quality engagement beyond raw XP, rewarding superusers. ### **Why include partner communities?** To expand AITV’s reach and foster shared user growth across aligned ecosystems. Partnerships help introduce new audiences to the DAO and onboard communities. ### **Why End Season 2 on November 28th?** Short seasonal cycles support healthy engagement, reset opportunities for new users, and help keep the leaderboard fresh. For example: - In Magic: The Gathering Arena, ranked seasons “run from the beginning to the end of each month so they last round 30 days on average”. Looks super bullish to me Wave 2 is stacked. Big allocations, partner expansions, and aura rewards on top… this should boost the whole ecosystem ---

The wave 2 is too prompt, it should be shifted to Q1 of 2026. Wave 1 airdrop claim should happen first before concluding wave 2 ---

Hey @Nupakachi999, the $AITV token has a built-in network fee capture mechanism as explained [here](https://docs.aitv.gg/the-usdaitv-economy). Additionally we have ongoing marketing efforts aimed at spreading awareness about the project. Additionally the airdrop will help with these efforts. ---

It’s not a bad idea wrapping it up with the end of the month, but everyone will agree that maybe It’s a good idea for at least the minimum stake period for the S1 rewards to elapse before heading to S2 distribution maybe 7th(Sunday) of December just like last season that ended on Sunday midnight ---

If you think that the time for the airdrop has come, you can actually do it. But why is there no information about how much of the airdrop will go to partnerships? After all, if active aitv users receive less than partner addresses, it would be unfair ---

I wholeheartedly support this. Man, this was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting a slow, 8-month grind for Wave 2, but I’m so happy that these airdrop seasons will last a month or two! This is how airdrop seasons should be conducted. ---
